Vulnerable

CW: Nudity

This week for Sinful Sunday I’m sharing a picture which makes me feel a little vulnerable.

I was relaxing in the bath and took a few pictures, initially I posed with my wineglass over my cock. It was nicely composed, cute, and just the right amount of elegance mixed in with the filth. It was a good photo, but it wasn’t honest.

I have a complex relationship with my dick, both because of intermittent dysphoria around it, and the body shaming which is frequently aimed at small cocks. But I don’t want to let that anxiety control me, I don’t want the internalised body image issues to win.

Posting this was a little bit scary, it felt exposing in ways nudity normally doesn’t for me. But if it’s not challenging, if it’s not honest, then what’s the point of sharing it?

  1. I am with you, if it doesn’t challenge what i the point. For me, growth happens when I push against the edge of my comfort zone.
    Thank you for being brave.

  2. I have definitely posted some images that have been a huge personal challenge over the years. I have never regretted doing so but that does not mean it was not really challenging at the time so I completely get where you are with those feelings.

The other thing I have discovered doing all this is that we see our own ‘flaws’ far more starkly than anyone else does. We look at ourselves in ways we never would another person. Taking my pictures has really helped challenge that behavior in me and so maybe it will help you too.

Anyway, I think it is fabulous shot, I have always had a bit of thing for penis and testicles in the bath, I find watching them move and float utterly fascinating and it makes me want to reach out and swirl the water.

  3. I think posting challenging images is far more about being challenging for those posting them than those viewing them.

I’ve posted images I hate and yet they’re well received. Likewise I really like this, cocks in baths are fascinating!

  4. I appreciate you sharing your vulnerability. I try to do the same; share the honest bits even if it’s scary. Shame dies in sunlight and you have a beautiful body and heart.

  5. I’m so pleased you posted this, bodies are wonderful, fascinating things; thank you for sharing yours! Bath pics always bring me a bit of peace and comfort, as though seeing them puts me in a virtual bath for a moment.
